Plan your outfits for the week around your schedule and the weather.

Every morning, the same question. Here you describe your week (work, evening out, sport, rest) with the expected temperature, list your outfits with their comfortable temperature range, and the tool spreads them out while avoiding repeats. Lock the ones you want to keep, reshuffle the rest, then add the plan to your calendar.

Your week of outfits

Eight example outfits are already entered. Replace them with your own and check the suggested plan.

7 different outfit(s) over 7 days. Check: every outfit respects the day’s occasion and temperature.

How to use it

  1. Choose the Monday date and the temperature unit, then each day’s occasion and expected temperature.
  2. Check or replace your outfits: name, comfortable minimum and maximum temperature, possible occasions (buttons).
  3. Read the plan. Lock an outfit you like, then click “Another arrangement” to reshuffle the other days.
  4. Export to ICS for your calendar, to CSV for a spreadsheet, or print the week.

A worked example

Example week: Monday to Thursday and Friday: work or remote work between 48 and 54 °F (9 to 12 °C); Saturday: evening out at 55 °F; Sunday: rest day at 57 °F. With eight outfits, the tool finds seven different outfits, for instance the tailored pants on Monday, the midi skirt on Tuesday, the jeans and navy sweater for remote work, then the black dress on Saturday.

If Friday drops to 18 °F (−8 °C), no outfit suits work any more: the day’s card turns red and tells you to widen an outfit’s temperature range or add one.

Method, assumptions and limits

Method. An outfit is compatible with a day if its occasion is ticked and the day’s temperature falls within its range. The tool first seeks the largest number of different outfits through a maximum day-to-outfit matching (a classic assignment method), then fills the remaining days with the least-used outfits, avoiding the same outfit two days in a row. Locked outfits are kept.

Limits. The tool knows neither the real weather nor your tastes: the temperature is the one you enter. No laundry is tracked here (see the laundry tool instead). The plan is a suggestion: mood, how you feel and the unexpected always have the last word.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a red card appear?

None of your outfits is compatible with that day’s occasion and temperature. Widen a range, tick an occasion, or add an outfit.

Can outfits repeat?

Yes, only if there are too few compatible outfits. The tool then limits repeats on consecutive days.

What is in the ICS file?

One all-day event per day with the outfit name, the occasion and the temperature. It is created locally and not sent anywhere.

Are my outfits saved?

No. Nothing is kept after you close the page; export if you want to keep the plan.
