Torn between two outfits? Compare them criterion by criterion.

To choose between two or three outfits, rate each one from 1 to 5 on six criteria, then say what matters most today. The tool calculates a score out of 100, ranks the outfits, explains the criterion that makes the difference and draws a radar chart. Free, no account.

Three example outfits are already rated. Change the names, the ratings and how much each criterion matters.

How to use it

  1. Set how much each criterion matters, from 0 (does not matter) to 3 (essential), for the day: weather counts more for an outing, comfort for a long trip.
  2. Name each outfit, then rate it from 1 to 5 on each criterion with the sliders.
  3. Read the ranking, the criterion that separates the top two and the radar chart.
  4. Add a fourth outfit if needed, then copy, export to CSV or SVG, or print.

A worked example

Weights: comfort 3, occasion 3, weather 2, care 1, colors 2, enjoyment 2 (total 13).

  • Dress and sneakers: ratings 5, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4 → (15 + 9 + 8 + 4 + 8 + 8) = 52 out of 65 → 80 / 100.
  • Pants and blazer: 3, 5, 3, 3, 4, 3 → 47 out of 65 → 72 / 100.
  • Skirt and sweater: 4, 4, 4, 2, 5, 5 → 54 out of 65 → 83 / 100.

The skirt and sweater come first, mainly thanks to how well they fit the occasion (4 against 3, weight 3) and to the colors.

Method, assumptions and limits

Method. An outfit’s score is the sum of ratings multiplied by weights, divided by the maximum possible (5 × the sum of weights), all out of 100. The deciding criterion is the one where the first outfit gains the most weighted points over the second. Two scores within 0.05 points are declared tied.

Limits. Ratings are subjective: the result reflects your own judgments, not a style truth. A high score does not guarantee you will enjoy the outfit when you get there. When the gap is small, trust your instinct. The tool does not take photos and does not judge your body.

Frequently asked questions

Which criteria should I prioritize?

Those that matter for the day: comfort and weather for long outings, occasion and colors for an appointment. Put 0 on criteria that do not matter.

Why is there a tie?

If two outfits get the same score to within 0.05 points, the tool puts them level and invites you to decide by instinct.

How many outfits can I compare?

From two to four. Beyond that, the comparison becomes harder to read.

Are my ratings saved?

No. Nothing leaves the page; export to CSV to keep a record.
